One of the ways in which we worship our Triune God is through our financial gifts or offerings in support of His church. If you are visiting with us, please feel no obligation to give anything. Should you desire to make an offering, however, there are a number of ways in which you may do so.
First, you may place an offering in the offering plate during a Sunday service. Envelopes are available at the church for such gifts.
Second, St. Luke also offers a pre-authorized debit option for offerings. Please contact Joan, our treasurer, at stlukeottawatreasurer@gmail.com if you would like to enroll in this program. Pre-authorized offerings provide consistency, stability, and simplicity for both the giver and the congregation.
Third, we are also able to receive donations through Canada Helps. Simply go to https://www.canadahelps.org/en/to make an online gift. Search for St. Luke Lutheran Church, Ottawa and follow the steps. Please note, however, that there are processing fees associated with gifts through Canada Helps. For example: from a gift of $100 through Canada Helps, $96.50 will be remitted to St. Luke. You receive a tax receipt for 100% of the value of your donation, however.
Finally, cheques can also be mailed to St. Luke via Canada Post. Please note, however, that there may be some delay in processing cheques that are mailed.
